Pemba Center 1 is the original location which is much smaller than Pemba Center 2. It is primarily housing for international missionaries and Mozambican staff. Housing for Mozambican pastors attending Bible school is also located at center 1.

The building pictured houses Jean &Teisa Nicole, Angela Olson and Kent & Andrea Powell.

This is the same building from the oposite end.  All of the landscaping has been a personal project by

Kent Powell from Wilmington, NC. Kent and Andrea from Brazil met at the center and were later

married. Their home is the one in front.

The Elijah Inn at Pemba Center 1 is for visiting guest speakers and others as assigned by hospitality.

Center 1 is being remodeled after Center 2 was opened. For those who have visited, please note the builder's level to the right that is actually being used by the builders.
