HS8A: June 2-August 4, 2008 (Application deadline is May 4)

HS8B: August 6-15, Extended outreach in Mozambique

HS8C: August 6-23, Extended outreach in one of the following countries: Mozambique, Malawi, Sudan, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Brazil, Israel or Asia. Outreach locations may change due to unstable political climates.

HS9A: October 17-December 15, 2008, (8 weeks) - Apply Online

Outreach Extension Options:

HS9B: 6 days in the bush-bush of Mozambique, December 16-21, 2008. You will have time to be home for Christmas.

HS9C: Mozambique and International Outreaches, December 16-31, 2008 Or January 2, 2009, depending on location. We will also have an outreach in Asia, February 1-23, 2009.

International outreach locations and costs will be posted when available.

The application for outreach is included with the regular school application. The outreaches are available only to those attending the regular schools. Final approval to stay for the outreach extension will be granted after the regular school has been in session for at least a month. However, payment for the outreach extension must be made prior to your traveling to Mozambique.  In the event you are not approved for the outreach extension, your outreach fee will be refunded. When you are accepted for the regular school and have applied for the outreach extension, your visa and airline flights must reflect the extended dates.

However, we cannot guarantee your stay for the outreach extension until final approval by our Iris Harvest School of Missions staff after a sufficient time of observation for recommendation.

Should you not be recommended for the outreach extension, you would have to re-schedule your flight home to leave 2-3 days after graduation. If you are accepted for outreach and decide not to go, you will be responsible for re-scheduling your plane ticket to leave 2-3 days after graduation. You may not stay on the base after this time if you are not going on outreach. For most, the airline will assess a schedule change fee.  Be sure to check out the amount of the fee and make provision for its payment from Mozambique.
